Welcome to First Grade at the Upper Moreland Primary School!

We are going to have a GREAT year together!

Here are a few things to help you get to know me better:

• I grew up local, right around the corner in Warminster. I knew that I wanted to be a teacher way back when I was in first grade. Mrs. Pomplas, my first grade teacher at Nativity of Our Lord, was a huge inspiration for me even at that young age.

• I am so excited to now be teaching first grade just like she did!

• I am a 2001 graduate of Archbishop Wood High School

• I graduated in 2005 from DeSales University where I earned my bachelor's degree in Elementary and Special Education.

• In 2010 I received my masters degree in reading from Gwynedd-Mercy College and am now a certified reading specialist.

• This will be my 9th year of teaching, all of which took place in the Upper Moreland School District.

• This year will also be my 6th year teaching 1st grade.

• Mrs. Latini and I just celebrated our 6th wedding anniversary on July 14th.

• The joy of our lives, our daughter Tessa, celebrated her 2nd birthday this summer on July 13th.

• We are excited for daughter number 2 to arive this coming June.
